I wouldn't want to be a census taker. Rural area or not, this country is experiencing social unrest. Not a good time to go knocking on a stranger's door as a representative of the government, or even the Girl Scouts, for that matter.

I'm in an unfamiliar area, so I won't be doing it, either. However, if I were in a small place I had spent many years, and knew the roads and grandmas well enough, I'd be happy to do it.
